While beautiful, their power is overwhelming and uncontrollable. All it took in this case was for somebody to not dispose of their cigarette properly. That simple act can cause a smoke plume seen to be see from space. I tend to focus on the positive parts of nature for photography but this was an opportunity I couldn't pass."
