Where Magpies Sing by Suellen Saidee Cook surf which took my mother SandyOne foggy morning one winter we were camped along the Murray River near Waikerie, South Australia in a secluded camp, all by ourselves. The spot was so relaxing, the birds sang us tunes as we sat around the camp fire soaking up this idyllic spot. The nights were still, the sky clear and the moon provided the most beautiful natural light, like a lantern in the sky. I thought how perfect it would be to live there, where the magpies sing.
