The body is in wood, decorated with flowers and a golden butterfly. The keys are ivory, probably from Japan. They rise up. They are decorated with mother of pearl inlays with insect and bird motifs from the Meiji period (1868 1912). It is a very nice piece for an Asian art collector or for decoration in your living room.
