Its a fine benefit, but honestly hes been powercrept since at least 2017 back when Kess, Dissident Mage was introduced similar ability (not quite as good since Dralnu can activate on opponents turns and potentially multiple times if you can untap him) but for a cheaper mana cost and gives you access to a third color but most importantly Kess doesnt threaten to sacrifice all your permanents if the Red player at the table hits you with some burn spell
With the right Forest, you can even generate more mana than average, making the card even more powerful than it already is
