If you dont want to get into a thematic build I dont think the type of creature tokens youre creating are going to be as important as the fact that for this deck you want to be making creature tokens

This artwork is incredibly nostalgic to me, as Ken worked on some of the most influential Pokmon cards ever made, such as Blastoise and Mewtwo from the original base set (two of my favourite Pokmon)
This version, in my opinion, is much better because it slows down your opponent
With 43 cards in the Energy economy, there is plenty to do out of this one set.
There are a few cards from the set like Sylvan Library and Worldly Tutor which I chose to add to this build
